The Pasco County government TV series "Profiles on Pasco" will focus on the budget process and proposed spending in the coming fiscal year.
The cable show will air multiple times throughout the summer.
Michael Nurrenbrock, Pasco's director of the Office of Management and Budget, will guide viewers through the budget process, property tax allocations and plans for fiscal year 2008-09. The overview isn't meant to be a detailed look at individual department budgets.
The proposed budget will be submitted to the Board of County Commissioners at a special meeting, 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the West Pasco Government Center, 7530 Little Road, New Port Richey. Public hearings will be held Sept. 8 in Dade City and Sept. 23 in New Port Richey. The board is expected to adopt a final budget in September, to take effect Oct. 1.
Pasco Television airs on Bright House Networks Channel 622 and Verizon Channel 42. "Profiles on Pasco" airs throughout the week. For a program schedule, go to www.pascocountyfl.net.
