Body Found At Himes Avenue Apartment Complex

TAMPA - The body of a man was found this afternoon at an apartment complex on Himes Avenue and investigators are trying to determine an identity and cause of death, the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office said.
A resident saw the body in the courtyard of Altamonte Apartments, 8730 N. Himes Ave., at 3:20 p.m. and called deputies, sheriff's spokeswoman Debbie Carter said. The body, which was not discovered for at least a day, was found near four air conditioning units, Carter said.
The remains have been taken to the Hillsborough County Medical Examiner's Office for an autopsy, Carter said.
