Three teenagers have been arrested, accused of breaking in to and stealing from five vehicles in the Brandon-Valrico area in the past month.
Between June 5 and July 1, Isidro "Izzy" Roman, 19, Gustavo Then, 17, and Selim Gutierrez, 17, broke in to vehicles and took items including wallets, purses, credit cards and a digital camera, Hillsborough County deputies say.
According to police reports, two of the boys would break in to a vehicle by smashing a window and the third would act as a lookout.
Roman was arrested Monday night and charged with five counts of burglary, two counts of grand theft, two counts of fraudulent use of a credit card – all felonies - and five misdemeanor charges of criminal mischief.
Roman is being held at Orient Road Jail. His bail is set at $19,500. The status of the 17-year-olds has been withheld by authorities because of their age.
