TAMPA - JetBlue Airways on Nov. 2 will inaugurate a daily flight between Tampa International Airport and Westchester County Airport in White Plains, N.Y., which serves New York, Connecticut and some New Jersey areas.
JetBlue will fly 150-seat Airbus A320s on the route
JetBlue has six daily flights between Tampa and New York's John F. Kennedy International Airport and one daily flight between Tampa and Newark Liberty International Airport.
JetBlue's plan for a new flight goes against the airline industry's recent trend to reduce service to leisure destinations to contend with rising fuel prices.
