Snow Was Always Fair, Respectful

Regarding "Ex-Bush Press Secretary Snow Dies Of Cancer At 53" (Nation/World, July 13):

It was so sad to hear of the passing of Tony Snow. He was a class act.

The interesting thing is that Tim Russert also passed away earlier this summer, and both of these gentlemen, even though different in their political views, treated all with respect and were both ultimate professionals who loved their family, faith and their jobs. That is a pretty good standard for us all to try for.

The current group of journalist, talk show hosts and commentators on both sides of the aisle and actually all of us could learn a lot about passion, love, respect, civility and caring from these two gentlemen.

Thank you to both Tony and Tim for the high standards that you established and lived for all of us. Peace.
