TAMPA - While searching a Riverview home Tuesday afternoon, Hillsborough County deputies found a 4-foot marijuana plant under a grow light and marijuana clippings in an entertainment center, deputies say.
The marijuana was in the same home where a 4-year-old and a 2-year-old live, according to an arrest affidavit.
Deputies arrested Moneca Batchelder, 25, and Stephen Batchelder, 25, at 5:15 p.m. Tuesday after executing a search warrant at their home, 10537 Opus Drive.
Each was charged with cultivation of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and unlawful possession of a controlled substance in the presence of a minor.
They were being held at Orient Road Jail. Bail for each was set at $4,500.
The affidavit does not say what happened to the children.
