Body Found At Apartment Complex Identified

TAMPA Detectives today identified the man found dead at a Himes Avenue apartment complex as 21-year-old Phillip Michael Pearson of Tampa, the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office said.
Pearson's body was found in a courtyard between four air-conditioning units Tuesday afternoon by a resident of Altamonte Apartments, 8730 N. Himes Ave., sheriff's spokeswoman Debbie Carter said.
It appears that Pearson was dead for at least a day before being discovered, the sheriff's office said. There were no signs of foul play and no trauma to Pearson, investigators said.
The Hillsborough County Medical Examiner's Office is awaiting a toxicology report to determine the cause of death.
