Tampa Police: Man Exposed Himself To 2 Minor Girls

TAMPA - William Joel touched himself inappropriately today in front of two girls younger than 16, police say.
Police arrested him at 12:46 a.m. at Florida and 26th avenues.
Officers initially spoke with Joel after the manager of a rooming house wanted him charged with trespassing, according to a police report. Joel left the scene without incident and went to a nearby bus stop.
About five minutes later, the officers were told that Joel was naked and touching himself near children, according to the report.
The officers returned to the scene and saw Joel, wearing boxer shorts, exposing himself, the report states.
Joel was charged with lewd and lascivious exhibition in the presence of a minor. He also was charged with violating probation on a previous lewd and lascivious exhibition charge, police say.
He was being held at Orient Road Jail. No bail had been set.
