TAMPA - Police have charged a 70-year-old woman with three felony cocaine charges after finding her with a pill bottle containing 13 pieces of crack, an affidavit states.
Annie Lee Jordan, of 2321 E. 12th Ave., Tampa, was released Friday on her own recognizance after her arrest Wednesday, jail records show.
According to an affidavit, Tampa police received a tip that Jordan was selling crack cocaine. Two officers visited her home and found her sitting on the porch with a man and a woman, who were not identified.
One of the officers asked if she minded speaking with the police, and she said she didn't, the affidavit states. She consented to being searched, and the officers found in her right pocket a pill bottle with the drugs, the affidavit states.
Jordan told police she had bought the drugs for $50, the affidavit states.
Police charged Jordan with felony possession of cocaine, felony possession of cocaine with intent to deliver and felony possession of cocaine within 1,000 feet of a park.
