Traffic Detours Today For Flugtag

It's flying day - or flugtag in German - today in downtown Tampa. Some roads will be closed as teams try their homemade flying contraptions starting at 1 p.m. near the Tampa Convention Center. Road closings, shown here, are scheduled to occur between 7 a.m. and 8 p.m. There is open seating in the areas shown below, and the channels will be open for boats but the aircraft area will be closed to them.
