New Port Richey Police Arrest 5 In Prostitution Ring

NEW PORT RICHEY - City police arrested five women early Saturday in an undercover prostitution operation.

Officers in unmarked vehicles patrolled the streets mostly in the area of Green Key Road and U.S. 19 where the women offered sex in exchange for money, police reports state. In one instance, a woman flagged down the officer and offered to have sex for $50. Another woman offered to "party" for money and gave a price range between $40 and $75 for different sex acts, a report states.

Those arrested and facing misdemeanor charges of prostitution are:

Toniann Latisha Nelson, 33, of 8717 New Brook Lane, New Port Richey. She was being held Saturday at the Land O' Lakes Jail with bail set at $150.

Penny Lynn Burton, 28, who has no address. She was released from the jail Saturday morning after posting $150 bail.

Michelle Verboczki, 46, of 3319 Williamsburg Loop, Holiday. She was also released from jail Saturday after posting $150 bail.

Amy Elizabeth Musto, 32, who also has no address. She was being held at the jail Saturday with bail set at $150.

Fairley Mae Velasquez, 49, of 6105 Adams St. New Port Richey. She was released Saturday after posting $150 bail.
