1 Dead, 1 Injured After Stabbings In Land O' Lakes

LAND O’ LAKES - A woman is dead and a teenager was taken by medical helicopter to Bayfront Medical Center after stabbings this afternoon in the same Land O' Lakes neighborhood, the Pasco County Sheriff's Office said.

The stabbings were reported from two different locations, one at 17616 Glenapp Drive and the other at 3400 Tarbolton Way, sheriff's spokesman Doug Tobin said in a statement.

A woman in her mid- to late-30's died. The condition of the teen was not available. A male suspect has been taken into custody, Tobin said. The names of the suspect and the victims have not been released by the sheriff's office.

A preliminary investigation revealed the incident may be a domestic-related stabbing, Tobin said.
