4-Year-Old Dies After Drowning In Hudson

HUDSON - A 4-year-old girl died tonight after she was found in the community pool of a Hudson mobile home park, the Pasco County Sheriff's Office said.
Pasco Fire Rescue crews responded to Forest Green mobile home park shortly after 7:30 p.m. after callers reported that a girl had been pulled out of the community pool, authorities said.
The girl, whose name has not been released by authorities, was taken by medical helicopter to Bayfront Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead, sheriff's spokesman Doug Tobin said in a statement.
How long the child was in the water is not known.
