LAKELAND - LAKELAND -- Deputies have arrested a man who they say sold marijuana and pills out of his Lakeland tire shop.
Wayne Walls, 43, of 1705 Fish Hatchery Road, was arrested Saturday on multiple drug-related charges after deputies searched his store, Wayne's Tire Shop, which he runs out of his home, the Polk County Sheriff's Office said.
Walls is accused of selling marijuana and pills at his tire shop in exchange for stolen property and cash, detectives said. Walls consented to a search of his property and deputies found 200 grams of marijuana, 100 grams of hydrocodone, 60 grams of oxycodone and about $2,400 in cash, the sheriff's office said.
A large portion of the drugs were packaged and ready for sale, detectives said.
Walls is charged with trafficking in hydrocodone, trafficking in oxycodone, possession of the painkiller fentanyl, possession of marijuana, possession of marijuana with intent to sell, maintaining a dwelling for drug use, possession of drug paraphernalia and four counts of possession of medication without prescription.
He is being held today at Polk County Jail with bail set at $205,500.
