Plant High quarterback Aaron Murray wrapped up the first day of workouts with a second-place finish in the daily Golden Arm accuracy contest. As a ballboy at last year's camp, Murray, a University of Georgia commit, won the overall Golden Gun contest.
Today was awesome. It was a great day with a bunch of great guys out here. That made it a lot of fun. I got to hang out with them and talk to them. I already knew about five of them. I got to talk to them about their college decisions. So it was a really good first day.
If you want to be the best, you've got to compete against the best and you've got to learn from the best. Just to be out here with these top guys, I'm really learning some things. I talk with them about how they work out with their schools and watching them out here on the field, I get to see their work ethic. If you want to be the best you've got to work with them. So, I'm very privileged to be out here with these guys.
And it's unbelievable to be working out with [Georgia quarterback Matt Stafford]. He gave me pointers. I was in his group today and he was pointing little things out to me throughout the day and helping me out. If we were running a route, he would say "this is what we call it at Georgia." He was very, very helpful today.
