CARROLLWOOD - Ice-cream lovers got a free taste of a 6-foot ice-cream "cone" Tuesday in celebration of National Ice Cream Month.
Tanya & Matt's Ice Creamiest shop held its 17th annual ice-cream celebration by building a towering ice-cream mound. Thirty-three gallons of ice cream were molded into a large scoop upon a giant cardboard pedestal.
The shop scooped free regular-sized cones from the giant sculpture for customers. The store also held an ice-cream eating contest and took customer photos on a throne made of ice.
