ALISO VIEJO, CA - Plant High quarterback Aaron Murray was named the Most Valuable Player of the Elite 11 Quarterback camp Thursday.
Murray participated in the week-long camp with some of the top high school quarterbacks in the country. Past participants of the camp include Drew Brees, Carson Palmer, Matt Leinart and Vince Young.
Camp counselors, that included college quarterbacks Chase Daniels of Missouri and Matt Stafford from Georgia, voted on a variety of awards at the end of the camp and gave the top honor to Murray.
This caps off a two-week whirlwind for the University of Georgia commit. Last week, he helped lead his Plant team to a Nike 7-on-7 national championship in California.
