Body Of Apartment Resident Found In Clubhouse Pool

SPRING HILL - The body of an adult male was found in the clubhouse pool of Suncoast Villa Apartments this morning, according to authorities.

Daniel Murphy Foster, 25, a resident of the apartment complex, was the victim of an apparent drowning, authorities said.

The maintenance supervisor of the complex discovered Foster at the bottom of the pool about 8 a.m.

Deputies were called to the complex about 1 a.m. today to investigate reports that someone was swimming in the pool and throwing around chairs. They discovered Foster intoxicated, and he told them at the time he was about to go to bed, according to a news release from the Hernando County Sheriff's Office.

Foul play is not suspected. The case remains open pending a medical examiner's report, which includes toxicology tests.
