Motorcyclist Killed After Hitting Guardrail

The driver of a 1979 Yamaha motorcycle died in a single-vehicle crash Saturday while heading east on Bay Pines Boulevard from the Madeira Beach Causeway, Pinellas County deputies say.
Anthony J. Boyle, 50, of 1601 56th St. S. in St. Petersburg, was wearing a helmet when the crash occurred, according to a sheriff's office news release.
About 4:45 p.m., Boyle's motorcycle struck the guardrail several times and he was ejected, according to the release. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
