Published: July 29, 2008

Amy Winehouse was hospitalized Monday night for a reaction to medication but was expected to be released by morning, representatives for the Grammy-winning singer said.

An ambulance took Winehouse from her north London home to University College Hospital, spokesman Chris Goodman said.

"Doctors have advised that she will be kept under observation overnight and is likely to be released tomorrow," read a statement released by Goodman and Tracey Miller, the 24-year-old's U.S.-based publicist.

It was the second time in as many months that Winehouse has been in the hospital. She was admitted to a London clinic in June after collapsing at home, and father Mitch Winehouse said at the time she had developed early stage emphysema from smoking cigarettes and crack cocaine.

Seacrest Survives Shark Attack

Ryan Seacrest on Monday described a most harrowing adventure on his KIIS morning radio show. The "American Idol" host found himself in a version of "Jaws" during the weekend.

"I was bitten by a shark," Seacrest said, adding that the vile predator was the size of an average cat. "It swam up to me, and it took a bite, and then he left."

Seacrest said he was "about eight feet out" in water about 4-feet deep when the attack took place.

And the dread bite? The shark caused "three holes" in his toe, said Seacrest, 33, who added that the shark left him a souvenir: one of its teeth. "It was like finding a splinter," he said.

Romijn, O'Connell Expecting Twins
It's twins for Rebecca Romijn and Jerry O'Connell, Romijn's publicist Lewis Kay said Monday.

The couple are expecting the babies in the winter, Kay told The Associated Press.

They will be the first children for the pair, who tied the knot in Los Angeles in July 2007.

Romijn, 35, stars in the ABC comedy "Ugly Betty."

O'Connell, 34, recently starred in the TV shows "Crossing Jordan" and "Carpoolers."

Grammer Checks Into Hospital

Kelsey Grammer has been hospitalized in New York after feeling faint following a recent heart attack.

Publicist Stan Rosenfield says Grammer checked himself into an undisclosed hospital over the weekend as a precaution and his condition is not life-threatening.

The publicist says it's possible Grammer's medication led to his symptoms.

Nearly two months ago, Grammer suffered a mild heart attack in Hawaii, where he lives, while paddle-boating.
