Tampa Man Charged With Forcing Relative, 11, To Have Sex

TAMPA - Luis A. Miranda of 3406 W. Beaumont St. was arrested about 6 p.m. Monday and charged with forcing an 11-year-old family member to perform sexual acts on him.

According to an affidavit, Miranda, 50, told police during a recorded interview that he forced the child to perform oral sex on him while he watched porn. He also stated that oral sex occurred on three or four occasions and that he also sexually molested the child.

He is charged with sexual battery of a victim less than 12 years of age and lewd or lascivious molestation, both felonies. He is being held without bail at the Orient Road Jail, according to jail records, which list him as a driver for Riverside Paper Co.
