SEVEN SPRINGS - The Community Service Council is making it easy to get the guy who attracts your eye.
Eighteen local bachelors will be up for bid at the sixth annual Bachelors, Baskets and Services Auction at 5:30 p.m. Friday at Seven Springs Golf and Country Club, 3535 Trophy Blvd.
The men vary in age, occupation and interests, and the dates range from a steak dinner and comedy club outing to a sunset cruise on a 38-foot yacht and a picnic at the beach.
Plus, Chef Victor Wang of Zen Forrest will prepare a personal five-course meal. And bidders can angle for a four-hour fishing excursion for up to four people.
In addition, 15 services will be auctioned off, including car repairs, handyman services, personal training sessions and carpet-upholstery cleaning.
There also will be a Chinese auction featuring several luxury packages.
Sales consultant Glenn Hanff will be master of ceremonies and a disc jockey will entertain throughout the evening.
Attendees can sample hors d'oeuvres from Carrabba's Italian Grill and Seven Springs Golf and Country Club. Grandma's Candy Kitchen will set out three chocolate fountains and plenty of tidbits for dipping. There will also be a cash bar.
Last year's bachelor auction raised $14,000.
Tickets, which are limited, are $15 in advance and $20 at the door. Call Bonnie Howard at (727) 364-1172.
