MULBERRY - Detectives are looking for an armed man who robbed a gas station convenience store today, the Polk County Sheriff's Office said.
At 6:53 a.m., the man walked into the Prima gas station store, 6980 State Road 60, Mulberry, and pointed a handgun at the cashier, detectives said. He left the store with an undisclosed amount of cash and he may have driven off in a 1998 or 1999 model gold-colored, four-door Buick sedan, possibly a LeSabre.
The man is described as white, 20 to 25 years old and 5 feet, 6 inches to 5 feet, 8 inches tall. He was last seen wearing a camouflage jacket, blue jeans and sunglasses with black plastic frames.
