TAMPA - Police charged a husband and wife with felony aggravated assault after each pointed a handgun at the other, affidavits state.
Theodore Williams Jr., 46, and Judy Ford, 44, each were held without bail at Orient Road Jail on Tuesday after an argument escalated Monday inside their West Union Street house, records show.
Officers responded to the house about 4:30 p.m. Monday after Ford, also known as Judy Williams, called police to report her husband pulled a gun on her, Tampa police said.
Criminal report affidavits state Theodore Williams pointed a gun at his wife's head and threatened her. The affidavits also state Ford pointed a gun at her husband and "made verbal threats to cause harm."
According to the affidavits, the couple has been married for 19 years and has three children. Jail records state Williams works for the city's Solid Waste and Environmental Program, and Ford is a caregiver.
