GRILL AND CHILL: SideBern's, 2208 W. Morrison Ave., Tampa, is kicking off the summer with the first of four Beer & BBQ events at 6 p.m. Thursday. Others will be held on the first Thursdays of July, August and September.

Each session will pair grilled foods with handcrafted beer. Thursday's features include Brooklyn Brewery lagers and SideBern's grilled, house-made sausages, charred vegetables, roasted sweet peppers and macadamia nut banana splits. The cost is $45.
