Tampa Police: Man, Woman Hauled Burgled Loot In Shopping Cart

TAMPA - A man and woman are being held at Orient Road Jail today after using a shopping cart to haul stolen items from a house, police say.
Floyd Robinson, 50, and Alice Robinson, 54, both of Tampa, are charged with felony burglary and felony grand theft. Floyd Robinson is being held on $19,000 bail and Alice Robinson on $9,500 bail, records show.
An initial Tampa police report is not clear how or whether the Robinsons are related.
Police arrested the two about 2:45 p.m. Monday after neighbors in the 8600 block of North 14th Street saw them leaving a house and pushing a shopping cart loaded with a television and other items, a preliminary report states. Neighbors confronted the pair and called police.
Police said the resident who was robbed had hired the Robinsons to mow her lawn.
