LAND O' LAKES - High school seniors will get their reward this week for all those years of classroom time.
Commencement ceremonies for nine public high schools in Pasco County begin Thursday and continue Friday evening, with most of the schools going off campus to venues large enough to accommodate their crowds.
On Thursday, Land O' Lakes High, Wesley Chapel High and Mitchell High will hold their graduations in succession at the University of South Florida's Sun Dome.
Zephyrhills High also is having a Thursday graduation, but at the Lakeland Civic Center.
The remaining high schools plan Friday evening ceremonies. Gulf High also is moving off campus to the Calvary Worship Center in New Port Richey.
The other schools - River Ridge, Ridgewood, Hudson and Pasco - will stick to the traditional on-campus ceremonies.
