TAMPA - A 19-year-old woman was accused by deputies of firing shots at three people in a car, according to arrest affidavits.
Nicole Marie Algarin, of 3913 Oak Limb Court, was charged Wednesday with three counts of shooting at or into a vehicle and three counts of aggravated assault with a firearm. She was released from Orient Road Jail today on $28,500 bail.
An arrest affidavit stated that Algarin is a member of the Latin Kings gang. Deputies said three people were in a parked car Wednesday night near Algarin's house. Algarin was hiding behing a 6-foot privacy fence, peered over the top, then fired at least two rounds from a handgun at the car, deputies said.
One round went astray and struck a different vehicle and the second hit the car the people were riding in. No one was hurt. The names of the three victims were not immediately available.
