Tampa Man Pleads Guilty To Child Porn Charges

TAMPA - A 35-year-old Tampa man pleaded guilty Thursday of receiving child pornography from others online then sharing the images, the U.S. Attorney's Office said.
Authorities served a search warrant Aug. 9 on the home of Dale Hitchings, 5223 MacDill Ave. S. No. 4, and found "numerous images of minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct" on his computer, prosecutors said.
Investigators said Hitchings received the pornography from people outside of Florida and shared many of the images online.
He was indicted on the charges Nov. 7. Hitchings is a registered sexual offender, according to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement's database.
