Card-carrying member of PETA, she ain't.
Pop singer Lily Allen turned heads when she wore a dress emblazoned with decapitated Bambis (complete with hot pink blood) to the U.K.'s Glamour Women of the Year Awards on Tuesday night. The "Smile" singer, who sported a matching pink hairdo, took home the Editor's Special Award - and a hangover that wasn't caused by her dress.
Allen had to be carried out of the ceremony's after party by a bouncer after hitting the sauce a little too hard. She admitted, via her MySpace blog, Wednesday that she was feeling "awful" after getting "very drunk."
"It's not cool getting that drunk," she said. "Kids, drink responsibly or you'll end up looking like this - not pretty!"
Wait - did she start drinking before or after she got dressed?
Michelle Obama To Appear On 'The View'
Michelle Obama will be a guest host on "The View" on June 18.
The popular ABC daytime talk show had invited her to be a guest this month, but she sent back word that she would like to be a host like Cindy McCain did in April, said Bill Geddie, the show's executive producer.
"Equal time - that's hard to argue with," he said Wednesday.
Being a guest host will allow Obama to help interview guests and participate in the opening "hot topics," or banter about what's in the news that day.
Obama was injected into the campaign when the Tennessee Republican Party posted an online video questioning her patriotism. That prompted her husband, Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama, to say political opponents should lay off his wife.
