Tarpon Springs Teacher Stalked Female Co-Worker, Police Say

TARPON SPRINGS - A Tarpon Springs High School teacher was arrested today on charges he stalked and harassed a female co-worker with whom he once was romantically involved.

Christopher J. Jefferson, 37, no address available, was charged with one count of stalking and one count of trespass to a dwelling, Tarpon Springs police said.

Though he was asked by the woman not to, Jefferson continued contacting her after their break-up, police said. Today, he went to her house uninvited to harass her, police said. This kind of conduct has been going on since early 2007, police said.
