The Polk County Sheriff's Office is seeking information on a fuel robbery that happened Saturday.
About 5 p.m., according to the sheriff's report, three semi-trucks pulled into the diesel fueling area behind the Circle K at 3730 Airport Road in Lakeland. One of the drivers entered the store and paid for some gas.
The store manager, however, later found the tanks had been tampered with and the trucks had pumped about $1,600 worth of fuel, far more than was paid for.
