TAMPA - A West Palm Beach attorney says she is representing three boys who accused a Polk County schoolteacher of having sex with them.
The Polk County Sheriff's Office on Thursday charged Danielle Jones, 32, a sixth-grade science teacher at Stambaugh Middle School, with lewd and lascivious battery and unlawful sexual activity with minors. She is being held without bail at Polk County Jail.
The sheriff's office said Jones, who lives in Auburndale, had sex over a two-month period with at least four boys, two of them brothers who had been her students.
Attorney Janice L. Jennings issued a written statement this morning calling for the Polk County School District to implement greater safeguards, methods and training to protect students.
