Oct. 18, 2006

Fredrick Gardner, 15, is struck and killed by a 16-year-old classmate while riding his bike to school.

Sept. 8, 2007

Brent Bennett, 18, a former student, dies unexpectedly at the University of Central Florida.

Oct. 22, 2007

Samantha Parslow, an 18-year-old graduate, dies of heart failure.

Oct. 25, 2007

Rachel Morris, 20, is killed in a car accident while riding with fellow graduate Brittany Romer.

Dec. 17, 2007

Jessica Davis and Gregory Powell, both 16, are shot near a bus stop. Both survive. A ninth-grader and a 17-year-old former student are charged.

Feb. 16, 2008

Facing charges and despondent over Morris' death, Brittany Romer commits suicide at age 21.

April 24, 2008

An 18-year-old student is raped and beaten at the Bloomingdale Public Library.

May 19, 2008

Rex "Scooter" Ballenger, an 18-year-old quarterback, dies after a car crash.
