TAMPA - The Hillsborough County Animal Services' Volunteer Partnership Program will hold orientation sessions at 5:30 p.m. Thursday and 10 a.m. June 28 for people who would like to help care for and find homes for animals in the temporary shelter.
Volunteer duties will include walking, socializing, washing, grooming and photographing pets, matching shelter animals with reports of lost pets, and escorting potential adoptive owners to the kennel area.
Volunteers must be at least 16 years old. Parents must accompany minors younger than 18 to orientation sessions.
