Window Of Bradenton Bridge Tender's Shack Shot

TAMPA - A bridge tender in Bradenton heard a loud bang this morning and discovered that someone had shot the window on the side of his shack, Manatee County deputies say.
The tender, 50-year-old Amy Turner, was not injured.
Turner saw a shiny dark vehicle – possibly a Hyundai – heading east on the bridge after the 4:15 a.m. incident, a Manatee County Sheriff's Office release states. That car was the only vehicle on the bridge.
The projectile didn't penetrate the shack's bullet-resistant glass, and bullet fragments or casings couldn't be found, deputies say.
