Tasty Morsels On TV This Week

"Top Chef: Chicago," 10 tonight, Bravo

After all the cooking and complaining and backstabbing, it all comes down to tonight's live finale in Puerto Rico. Someone will take home $100,000 and the title of Top Chef.

The two others will have the pleasure of looking forward to the inevitable reunion show, where they can salve (or poke) a few emotional wounds earned during their 15 brutal weeks in the kitchen.

"Molto Mario," 2 p.m. Friday, Fine Living

If you miss seeing il chef grande rosso on Food Network - seeing him compete occasionally on "Iron Chef: America" doesn't quite satisfy - you can still catch his engaging and informative show on the Fine Living Network.

And if you enjoy this half-hour episode, you can stay around for another right after it airs.

"Bridget Jones's Diary," 8 p.m. Saturday, Bravo

The romantic adventures of a thirtysomething Brit (Renee Zellweger) determined to find Mr. Right while cutting back on her smoking, drinking and eating. Sometimes it works; sometimes it doesn't.

Regardless, she bumps into Colin Firth and Hugh Grant, so, you know, there are benefits to being cute and bloated and having cankles.

"Paula's Best Dishes," 12:30 p.m. Sunday, Food Network

The Mae West of Mayonnaise is back with another show to help Food Network perk up its daytime lineup. This time, instead of slaving alone in the kitchen or holding a party at her brother Bubba's restaurant, she cooks with family and friends and helps rescue the dishes of cooks who need help.

First episode: She lures her tugboat captain husband, Michael, into the kitchen to make stuffed beef tenderloin and garlic mashed potatoes. Then, he helps Paula with shrimp bisque and homemade croutons. Let's hope they gargle before bedtime.
