I inherited a Remington Noiseless typewriter from my grandfather that I believe dates between 1914 and 1945.
It still works. What is it worth?

According to typewriter expert Richard Polt, it is a cased Remington Model No. 7 typewriter manufactured during the late 1930s.
The Noiseless was designed to be quiet in an office. Noiseless No. 7 models are common.
E. Remington and Sons, founded in 1816, made firearms and typewriters. Its first typewriter appeared in 1873. The typewriter business and rights to the name were sold in 1886. Remington Arms Co. is still in business.
The typewriter would retail for about $25.

I received a desk from my late sister that she purchased at an auction in Philadelphia 20 years ago.
It has a fold-over lid. Inside are two drawers and some cubbyholes. It is made of stained walnut.

It is a spinet desk manufactured in the mid-1930s. It appears to be made of mahogany or walnut solids, with veneers over plywood.
The desks were designed to look like antique spinet pianos, musical instruments similar to harpsichords.
These Colonial-Revival desks were made around the country by many furniture manufacturers, and quality varies greatly. Some are shaky while others are solid and useful. This desk appears to be well-made and would retail for $150.
