1 Dead in 2-Vehicle Crash

TAMPA -- Clearwater police are conducting a traffic homicide investigation tonight, police say.
The crash occurred at Keene and Sunset Point roads.
Shortly before 8 p.m., a green Jeep SUV heading north on Keene Road was hit by a vehicle that ran a red light while heading west on Sunset Point Road, a Clearwater police news release states. The SUV was sent into the southbound lanes of Keene and hit a third vehicle.
A passenger in the SUV was pronounced dead on scene.
