DADE CITY - Two teenagers face several felony charges for burglarizing two schools, a home and a pet business, Dade City police said.

Justin Alan Lee Ball and Joseph Michael Chapasko, both 16, were involved in a series of burglaries on June 4 involving Pasco Middle School, Pasco Elementary School, a pet groomer's store and a home on Howard Avenue, Dade City Police Department Capt. David Duff said.

Among items stolen: two laptops from the schools.

Later that same day, police got a tip that people were trying to dispose of the stolen property.

Detective Joe Conrad and Officer Christina Diaz found Ball and Chapasko on College View Drive.

They say the boys told them they committed all four burglaries and that they were responsible for burglaries committed in December.

The teens were charged with seven felonies and one misdemeanor and taken to the Juvenile Assessment Center in Land O'Lakes.
