ZEPHYRHILLS - City officials have canceled a boil water notice for about 100 households.
On Thursday, workers shut off service for residents on the eastern side of Gall Boulevard, from B to Fir avenues, and east to Alston Avenue, Clay Avenue and Hooper Street. Workers were repairing a broken fire hydrant.
As a result, a precautionary boil water notice was issued for the affected households.
Bacteriological tests have confirmed the water is safe to drink and the notice has been lifted.
For information, call city hall at (813) 780-0000.
