Passenger Killed In Accident Identified

TAMPA - Clearwater police have identified the passenger killed in a three-vehicle accident last night at Keene and Sunset Point roads as James Vincent Lehosit, 27.
Lehosit was riding in a 1995 Cherokee Laredo headed north on Keene when it was struck by a 2007 Nissan Sentra traveling west on Sunset Point about 7:45 p.m., police said.
The Sentra failed to stop for a red light when it entered the intersection, police said.
The impact caused the Laredo to roll onto its roof and enter the southbound lanes of Keene, where it struck a 2005 Kia Rio.
Lehosit died at the scene, police said.
The driver of the Sentra, Casey Schwartz, 28, gave indications of possible impairment, police said.
An assistant state attorney and an investigator from the Pinellas-Pasco Medical Examiner's Office responded to the scene.
Charges are pending further investigation.
