BRADENTON A robber took back his note this morning as he made off with cash from the register at a Bradenton Burger King.
The man entered the Burger King at 6722 14th St. in West Bradenton at about 8:10 a.m. and approached a 47-year-old woman working at the counter.
He handed her a note demanding all the money from the top drawer of the cash register.
The woman hesitated, called her manager over and pointed to the note.
The manager gave the suspect $69 from the drawer.
As the robber left, he took the note and was last seen jogging through the parking lot of an adjacent motel.
He is described as white, bald, 25 to 35 years old, 5-foot-9 to 6 feet, and 200 pounds with a stocky build.
He was wearing a white T-shirt that may have had blood on it, black shorts and a jean vest.
