Hillary saw men and women with children on their shoulders, and told them, "You can be anything." But that's not the case. You can't be everything.
Many of the things that happened to Hillary, if they had happened to Obama, they would have faced accusations of racism. There was a double standard there ...
Yet what do we do? Do we become bra burners again? It's not the time for that. But there must be some vehicle to get people to understand we want to be respected. Don't demean us in ways that are cutting below the belt.
He's asked for Hillary's supporters to come on board. The problem is he hasn't built any base.
You feel as though Hillary was expressing the things women cared about. He's never talked about the fact that women are shouldering business responsibilities today. Most small business are started by women. And they have to take care of their children and their parents.
There's very little help that comes from institutions. And there's no emphasis on the need for it. ... I have not heard anything from Obama that as an older woman, moves me in his direction.
