SHOT OF THE DAY
Tiger Woods' second shot on the par-5 ninth hole was one to be second-guessed. On the 614-yard hole, Woods went for the green from 285 yards out and hooked the ball deep into local scrubby, resulting in an unnecessary bogey.

After setting up the par-4 hole at 435 yards for three days, the USGA made it a drivable 267 yards for Sunday's final round.
The desired results followed. Jesper Parnevik reached the green with a 3-wood and sank an 18-foot putt for eagle. Twenty-six players made birdie while 13 made bogey and no one took double.
