TAMPA - Anthony Morales asked three people for money, and when they refused, he pulled out a knife and tried to stab them, Tampa police say.
He wasn't trying to rob them – he was just angry because they didn't give him money, an arrest affidavit said.
Police arrested Morales at 8:49 p.m. Sunday at 805 E. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. He was charged with three counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Morales, 27, of Tampa, also was charged with one count of violating probation for battery on a law enforcement officer, the affidavit states.
Morales remained in Orient Road Jail today. His bail had not been set.
