ZEPHYRHILLS - Tap is on tap. So are ballet, jazz, acrobatic dance and baton routines.
Performers ages 2 to 18 will move to the music Saturday when Peggy's Dance Place presents its ninth annual recital, "Dance is Great in 2008."
The 4 p.m. show is at Zephyrhills High School, 6335 12th St. Tickets are $7 and will be sold in advance or at the door.
Performances by members of the One Second team will feature:
•Kristen Arnold, tap dancing to "Walk This Way"
•Lindsay Arnold, doing a lyrical/acrobatic dance to "Once Upon a Time"
•Danielle Brite, jazz dancing to "Up, Up, Up"
•Ashley Gleaton in a high-kicking cancan
•Kaitlin Greenough, military tap dancing to "Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy"
•Alexandra Harwell and Allyson Medlin, jazzing up the tune "Pop Princess"
•Taylor McKell, with a jazzy routine to "Barracuda"
•Kathleen Ure, displaying the precision and grace of ballet to "A Moment Like This"
•Abby Vincent, tumbling to "Do You Believe in Magic"
The team will perform a routine to "School of Rock."
Peggy's Dance Place, 36751 State Road 54 W., also is offering a summer dance and fun camp July 28 through 31. Predance for ages 3 to 5 will be from 9 to 10 a.m. and costs $35. Dance camp for ages 6 and older will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and costs $85.
