TAMPA - A reconstructed Interstate 75 overpass in northern Manatee County near Ellenton reopened this evening.
Thousands of motorists have been affected since June 4 when a fuel tanker on I-75 crashed and turned the highway into an inferno.
About 83,000 drivers use that stretch of highway every day, according to an FDOT traffic study from 2007.
Information from The Tampa Tribune was used in this report.
