Selmon Crosstown Begins Paving Lanes At Main Toll Plaza

TAMPA - Workers started repaving around the 78th Street toll booth on the Selmon Crosstown Expressway on Sunday night.
Crews will work from 7 p.m. until 5 a.m. Sunday through Thursday to repave lanes in both directions at the main toll plaza. Crews will not work Friday and Saturday nights.
Traffic on the elevated portion of the expressway will not be affected. The job is scheduled to be finished by July 17.
Drivers using the east- and westbound lanes of the lower portion will find lanes closed and encounter paving equipment during the work. On Wednesday, a westbound lane of the expressway, from 22nd Avenue to Kennedy Boulevard, will be closed from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
