Man Hospitalized After Stabbing At Tampa Boarding House

TAMPA - A man stabbed Saturday while sitting on the front porch of a boarding house was hospitalized with serious injuries, police said.

Julio Estrada, 37, is one of several men who live at the house on North 12th Street. About 8:50 p.m. Saturday, a man stabbed him in the chest with a large knife, according to Tampa police.

Estrada told police there was no provocation for the attack. He was taken to Tampa General Hospital.

Police are seeking a Hispanic man, about 5 feet 4 inches tall and 160 pounds. He was wearing a green T-shirt, jeans and brown cowboy boots.
